| Description | Maksim Goryunov was born in 1982 in Uman. He graduated from the Philosophy Department of Moscow State University, then taught at the Higher School of Economics and published some essays and articles. In 2018–2022 he lived in Minsk and hosted the ongoing radio program “Idea X” on the Belarusian Euroradio. Based on the program’s materials, a collection of conversations, "Belarusian National Idea" was published to be consequently banned in Belarus as an extremist edition. He made his debut as a poet in 2019 in the magazine "Vozdukh" (Air); in 2020, his first poetry collection, "Geopolitical Lyrics" was published. |
