Kuznetsov S. Mjasorubka Mossa

Author Kuznetsov S.
Title Mjasorubka Mossa
Description The year is 2030. The world has recently lived through the Covid epidemic, though Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022 never took place. A young data analyst is working on a study for an international IT corporation when he notices a strange correlation between the deaths of people who have never met, living in different parts of the world. As the novel unfolds, the reader gradually begins to understand what connects a newly married couple from France and a marine from the United States. The same hidden thread also links a flight attendant from Spain, a Croatian veteran, and a contemporary Serbian artist. At the same time, dozens of characters are searching for answers to difficult questions: how long wounds caused by war continue to heal, why it is easier to call oneself guilty than to accept responsibility, and how far guilt can lead a person.

A chemist by training, Sergey Kuznetsov has worked in journalism and literature since the 1990s. Moss Grinder forms a kind of conclusion to his trilogy, begun with The Round Dance of Water (2010) and continued in Kaleidoscope. Consumable Materials (2016).
